We are looking for a passionate Growth Leader, CPG to join our team and drive exceptional client relationships and project success.
About the Role:
The Growth Leader will play a pivotal role in expanding our CPG client base, working in close collaboration with the Marketing Director to drive qualified leads and new business opportunities. This individual will focus on prospecting, outreach, and managing marketing-qualified leads into the pursuit process. By aligning growth efforts with marketing strategies, they will create and execute plans to activate and manage a high-performing sales funnel. Their expertise in growth, sales, and client acquisition within CPG will contribute to the overall growth and sustainability of the consultancy. The ideal candidate brings CPG industry experience, sales acumen, and a track record of securing new business.
This role is an integral part of our agency sustainability and will directly support the Marketing Director and regularly partner with senior leaders in Client Services, Expression, and Strategy & Foresight. This role will be accountable to and report to the Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities:
- Client Prospecting & Outreach
- Identify, research, and prioritize prospective clients within CPG markets.
- Execute targeted outreach via email, LinkedIn, cold calls, networking events, and industry conferences.
- Develop personalized engagement strategies to connect with key decision-makers.
- Sales Funnel Management
- Support marketing to activate marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) and guide them through the sales funnel.
- Implement strategies to enhance lead conversion rates and optimize sales cycles.
- Leverage CRM tools to track pipeline progress, analyze metrics, and forecast revenue.
- Update internal teams on business development progress to foster a growth-driven culture.
- Collaboration with Marketing
- Align with the Marketing Director to synchronize lead generation efforts, messaging, and outreach campaigns.
- Provide insights on lead quality and contribute to refining targeting and engagement strategies.
- Utilize and maintain a pursuit asset library (case studies, thought leadership, presentations) to strengthen prospect engagement.
- Client Prospecting & Relationship Building
- Build and maintain strong CRM of prospects through internal collaboration and consultative outreach.
- Partner with practitioners to guide prospects through the pitch process.
- Collaborate with Client Services on scope development and secure agreements aligned with business goals.
- Market & Industry Expertise
- Stay informed and report out on industry trends, competitor activity, and market shifts to identify growth opportunities.
- Represent the company’s value proposition at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to expand visibility and generate leads.

Qualifications:
- 5–7 years of experience in CPG business development, sales, account management or client acquisition, preferably in branding, design, or marketing.
- Strong understanding of sales funnels, lead qualification, and CRM tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build relationships with senior executives and decision-makers.
- Results-driven mindset with a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
