LPK Chief Executive Officer Sarah Tomes is among ten female leaders recognized for making big impact in the region.
The Cincinnati Business Courier has chosen the honorees for its 2019 Women Who Mean Business Awards, and on Thursday, the recipients, including LPK Chief Executive Officer Sarah Tomes will gather for the fourth-annual awards luncheon.
Created to highlight female leaders making a major difference in the region, the Courier selected Tomes for her inspiring rise at LPK—from intern to CEO—and her leadership on high-impact brand initiatives, including the rebrand of ArtsWave and the development of Power of Her, connecting women-led arts programs throughout Cincinnati to honor the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage.
Tomes is being honored alongside nine other women from the Cincinnati business community: Sarah Anderson, Cintrifuse; Kelley Downing, Bartlett Wealth Management; Elizabeth Edwards, H Venture Partners; Tara Halpin, Steinhauser Inc.; Sheri Harper, Frisch’s Restaurants Inc.; Tisha Livingston, Infinite Acres; Britney Ruby Miller, Jeff Ruby Culinary Entertainment; Yvette Simpson, Democracy for America, ABC News commentator and Ulmer & Berne LL; and Barbara Turner, Ohio National Financial Services.
