Devoted to equal justice and fair treatment at all stages of incarceration, OJPC evolves its brand to bring new awareness to its mission.
The Ohio Justice & Policy Center (OJPC) has debuted a new look—its first brand redesign since its founding in 2006. OJPC partnered with LPK on the effort, developing a brand strategy, tone of voice and visual identity that better reflect the non-profit’s expansive work in the criminal justice sector.
With many audiences—from the currently and previously incarcerated to volunteers, donors, legislators and judges—the organization needed a flexible creative system. “We helped OJPC solve its biggest challenge: achieving consistency while delivering on very diverse needs,” says LPK Brand Leader, Lizzie Keister. “The new brand clarifies OJPC’s purpose and makes it easier for people to immerse in their story and services—all with a sense of optimism and hope.”
From a new website and social channels to print pieces and virtual events, the redesign is helping the organization expand its reach, says Marais Jacon-Duffy, Communications Manager at OJPC: “This smart evolution of our brand and identity will allow us to grow as an organization to meet the high demand that we know exists in Ohio and beyond. It’s approachable and helpful, just like we try to be.”
