The #1 ball in golf just got better, Titleist says. The brand worked with LPK on the design of its 12th-generation Pro V1 and Pro V1x, used by over 70% of the championship’s players.

Every two years, Titleist debuts its new Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls, partnering with LPK on the evolution of its packaging design. This spring, there’s no shortage of new, innovative details to cover—from a high gradient core that promises lower long game spin to a 388-dimple design that amplifies speed, distance and control.

Throughout this year’s PGA TOUR, over 80 golfers, including Will Zalatoris, played with the Pro V1 and Pro V1x. And at this week’s prestigious 2023 Masters Tournament in Augusta, Georgia, Titleist Pro V1 will again be the most-played ball.

LPK’s creative team focused on evolving the package design to convey the cutting-edge innovation and premium performance of Titleist, drawing on emergent aesthetic codes to signal change and propel the heritage brand forward. “For a Titleist golf ball to be new, it must be better,” said Frederick Waddell, Director of Golf Ball Product Management. “We go through a rigorous testing and validation process to ensure the performance improvements developed by our world-class R&D team are recognized by the golfer when they put it in play and experience the product.”

The 2023 Masters Tournament runs Thursday, April 6th through Sunday, April 9th.
